1.Location of Yiwu

Yiwu is situated in the central Zhejiang Province. It is 260 km to Shanghai ,one of the biggest cities in China,and 120 km to Hangzhou, the capital of Zhejiang. Yiwu is well-located and easy of access, in a midway position of the Pacific Northwest, connecting Guangdong and Fujian in the south and Shanghai economic zone in the north,facing the pacific golden channel and the premier port of East China —Ningbo.

2. The location of China Yiwu International Fair.

China Yiwu International Commodities Fair is held in Yiwu International Expo Center(it stands in the cross of Yiwu Zongze Road and Jiangdong Road).You can take NO.804 bus through from station to our place.

3.The Scale of this Exhibition and Sorts of Products?

China Yiwu International Commodities Fair is approved by the State Council of the People’s Republic of China. It is hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and the People’s Government of Zhejing Province. 
The characteristic of this year’s fair is that most of the exhibitors are manufacturers.
The 18th China Yiwu International Commodities Fair will be held from Oct.21st to Oct.25th in Yiwu, Zhejiang. There are 6000 booths of international standard in a floor space of 180,000㎡ . Various industries, including Hardware, Electronic & Electrical Appliances, Knitwear Garment & Accessories, Crafts, Crystal & Glassware, Stationery & Office Supplies, Sports & Recreational Articles, Leather, Cases & Bags, Daily Necessities, Cosmetics & Cleaning Products, Jewelry & Accessories, Household Textiles, Toys & Children’s Products, E-commerce & Trade Services, Imported Products, will be displayed in this exhibition. At the same time, it will take some economic and trade activities，such as the International Buyers’ Meeting，Network Products Trade Fair.

4.When will the 18th China Yiwu International Commodities Fair be held?

Yiwu Fair will be held from Oct.21st to Oct.25th in 2012. And Yiwu Commodities Market is always open, except 10 days in Spring Festival.

5.How is the transportation situation of Yiwu?

Yiwu enjoys developed transportation. The three-dimensional transportation network, including highway, railway and aviation, makes it convenient to travel between Yiwu and other big cities of China.
Aviation:
There are 12 flights connecting Yiwu with Hong Kong, Beijing, Guangzhou, Xiamen, Shenzhen, Shantou, Changsha, Kunming, Chongqing, Chengdu, Zhengzhou and Urumqi.

Highway:
Yiwu is on the Hangzhou-Jinhua-Quzhou and Jinhua-Ningbo Expressways. There are over 340 inter-provincial routes for passengers. Yiwu is only one hour’s drive to Hangzhou, two and a half hours’ drive to Shanghai, one and a half hours’ drive to Ningbo.

6.The History of China Yiwu Commodities Fair

China Yiwu Commodities Fair has been held for 17 successive years since 1995.It is held from Oct.21st to Oct.25th annually in Yiwu, Zhejiang Province.It was upgraded to International Commodities Fair in 2002,and hosted by Chinese Ministry of Commerce and the People’s Government of Zhejiang Province. It has become the largest, most influential and productive commodities fair in China. It has become the third largest exhibition sponsored by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce following Canton Fair and China fair, and was honored as ‘Best Management Fairs in China’ in 2005,'China’s Top Ten Most Influential Exhibition brands’ and ‘Best Outcome Exhibition’ in 2006, ‘China Yangtze River Delta Region High-Quality Exhibition Project’ in 2007, ‘China’s Most influential Exhibition brands’ in 2008.

7.How is the weather in Yiwu when expo is held?

Affected by monsoon climate,Yiwu enjoys a temperate weather with well-marked seasons with plenty of rainfall and sunshine.The annual temperature is around 17.2℃,annual rainfall is 1403.1mm,and the humidity is 76%.Yiwu Fair is held in October which is one of the best months of the year.The monthly mean temperature is 18.8,the average monthly rainfall is 67.7mm,and the humidity is 77%.Sky in autamn is high and atmosphere pleasant,cool breeze blowing,It is the golden season to go to tourism trade.

10.What about the lines from Shanghai airport to Shanghai railway station? How long does it take from Shanghai to Yiwu?

There are shuttle buses from both airports to Shanghai South Railway station, you can also take taxi. It takes 4 hours by ordinary train and 2.5 hours by bullet train.
